Recently, the construction of the leading project of Sahuteng Reservoir in Zaduo County, Yushu Prefecture, Qinghai Province, undertaken by China Railway No.2 Group, has been completed.
The reservoir is located in Jinaigou, a tributary on the right bank of the Zhaqu River in Zaduo County. After completion, it will mainly provide production and living water for 48,500 people in Sahuteng Town and its surrounding areas, and provide irrigation water for 5.34 square kilometers of forest land, with a total storage capacity of 2,078,100 cubic meters. The reservoir adopts a four-sided enclosure dam along the terrain, forming a strip-shaped arrangement. The full length of the enclosure dam axis is 2.08 kilometers, and the maximum filling height is 22.08 meters.
The first bid section of the Sahuteng Reservoir Project contracted by China Railway No.2 Group mainly includes reservoirs, houses, pipelines, roads, etc. Among them, the design size of the dam slope face slab is 3.1 meters X 4.6 meters, with a total of 6436 pieces, 18355 cubic meters, and high frost-resistant concrete pouring.
