On November 13, the Harbin-Dalian Railway Catenary Overhaul Project Department of the First Company of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group completed the erection of the first steel column and the installation of 12 groups of catenary cantilevers in the first anchor section between Gongzhuling and Taojiatun, Jilin Province, marking that the Harbin-Dalian Railway Catenary Overhaul Project formally entered the construction stage. Harbin-Dalian Railway is 946.5 kilometers long, which was put into operation in 2001. The overhaul will increase the carrying capacity of the traction network through the overhaul and reinforcement of the power system, further meet the needs of the growth of Harbin-Dalian Railway transportation, and comprehensively improve the safety and reliability of the catenary equipment.
