Construction of grade-I key points of railway transformation from Jinan Railway Station

On November 16, Jinan Station of Shandong Section of Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway was completed, marking the completion of the renovation project of Jinan Station of Shandong Section of Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway contracted by the China Railway No.10 Engineering Group, and the formal introduction of Jinan Station of Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway.

In order to introduce Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway into Jinan Railway Station, it is necessary to update the existing railway equipment and lines in the station. The reconstruction project of Jinan Railway Station includes the construction of one track, the relocation of 0.6 kilometers of track, the laying of 0.9 kilometers of new track, the removal of 15 existing turnouts and the insertion of 16 new turnouts.

This construction adopts the full blocking operation mode in the skylight period, and the construction level is the highest. It is necessary to complete the tasks of line connection, large machine tamping, signal equipment switching, catenary transformation, and so on within seven and a half hours. As a railway operation and maintenance unit, the Jinan Maintenance Section of the Jinan Maintenance Division of Transportation Management Company of CREC Electrification Bureau has assisted in the parallel construction of engineering, electrical, electrical traction, and other specialties.

It is reported that this construction is the most significant station yard renovation in the ten years since the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway was introduced into Jinan Station. After the completion of the reconstruction, a fast passenger transport corridor linking the Shandong Peninsula with the Central Plains and the western region will be further constructed, which is of great significance for improving the regional road network structure, boosting the construction of the Central Plains urban agglomeration, accelerating regional economic and social development, and facilitating people's travel along the line.
