On November 23, The main project of the Beijing-Xiong'an Expressway (Beijing Section) from the Fifth Ring Road to the Sixth Ring Road, jointly funded by CREC Federation and Beijing Capital Group and operated and managed by China Railway Investment Group, was completed. The Beijing section of Jingxiong Expressway is 27 kilometers long, and the whole line runs from north to south, connecting with the Hebei section of Jingxiong Expressway. The entire line adopts the standard construction of a two-way, eight-lane expressway, of which the section from the Sixth Ring Road to the city boundary has been opened on December 31, 2022. The section from the Fifth Ring Road to the Sixth Ring Road is 15.2 kilometers long. In addition to the main works, 99% of the electromechanical and traffic safety works have been completed.
