Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”

  The Cuijiaying Hanjiang River Bridge was awarded the Award of Merit—Railroad Bridge by the IBC.

            

  Contracted by MBEC and built by CRHIC, the bridge in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, is 13,013 meters long, with a main navigable span of 870 meters and a designed span of 300 meters. It is the steel truss composite bridge with the largest span in the world, as well as the world’s first continuous 300-meter-span steel truss highway bridge with a designed speed of 350 km/h.

  The Cuijiaying Hanjiang River Bridge is the most crucial control engineering project of the 399-kilometer-long Wuhan-Shiyan High-speed Railway, a strategic artery railroad that passes through cities like Wuhan and Xiaogan and links northwestern and central China with the southeastern coastal region.
